This is process where we add some process by using machine, mold or lesser machine without or less amount of chemical or water which is not done in drum washing machine.
1. Whisker :
This is the process where uneven faded lines on thigh, knee or back knee. When we wear jeans, wherever the garment is folded, there the lines. So the concept came from there to give used look.
This is done by laser, mold or manual by using sands paper. Manual whiskers look more natural than laser whiskers.
Manual whiskers we make mold on rubber sheets and than garments get scrap on that area with sands paper. This is done on un-wash garments because once the garment washed, sizing agents removed from surface and it will become soft and open and surface threads get damaged by using sands papers.Laser whiskers is done before as well as after wash depends on requirements and fabric quality. Now days, we are facing labor problems and good skilled labors so laser is good option. We get consistent quality in every garment.
2. Scraping :
This is done for fading look on denim. This is done after whisker with help of sand blast paper. This is manual process.
I is also done before wash because once the garment washed, sizing agents removed from surface and it will become soft and open and surface threads get damaged by using sands papers.Initially, it was done by sand blasting machine which is not good workers and environment.
3. Tagging:
It is the process where we tag some part of denim by using tagging machine. initially it was done by manual with a needle cotton threads .
This is use for dark effects or high low effects on that particular part of denim. This add the value on garments.
4. Tie / Net bag :
Tie effects are done by using cotton or threads tie on garment. This effect is use for un even lining/ fold mark on denim garment. This can be done on bottom, thigh or full body. Folded part and exposed part get more abrasion at time of washing.
Net bag is use for creak mark effects on denim. In this process , the garment is folded and put into a net bag. This is also use for adding value to denim.
5.Distress/Ripped/ Body Damaging:
Distress effect is use for used look, high fashion effects on denim. It give unique, cool effects to denim.
This effects can be done by Laser or manual. These effects obtained different different methods:
a) By Hand Grinding machine: This is basically used on pocket edges, bottoms, back pockets and on body of denim. This is give classic effects on denim.
b) By knife, cutter: This is use cutting on denim surface for clear and sharp damage effects. This is done horizontal position on garment.
This is done before wash for uneven breakage of threads and after wash for sharp edge cut.
c) By Sand paper: This is the classic way to give unique and perfect used look on denim. This is basically done on pocket area, zipper area, waist band, bottom, front knee and back sheet and back pockets. Some time we use some mold keep in back or front pocket and give desire look like mobile impression, wallet or keys impressions.
d) By laser machine: By using laser we can create any distress effects.
6) PP Spray:
It is Potassium Permanent (KMnO4). This is use for discharge the indigo dyes from garments. It is applied on the Scraping part by using spray gun. PP fade and give bright effects on applied area. It is done after first wash.
7) Wrinkle/ 3D effects :
This process is done by using Resin. This is applied on garment by spray or dipping.
Permanent wrinkles is done by machine or by hand using clips or pin or wrinkle manque.
8) Color Spray:
this is process where we use different types of dyes pigment dyes, reactive dyes bye using spray gun.
we apply on discharged part or sometime on full body.
